While originally focusing on the spine (back and neck), STRONG. Chiropractors are educated and trained in diagnosing and treating injuries across the entire body. Your chiropractor can address issues of the knee, ankle, shoulder, back, neck and many more. Our STRONG. Chiropractors assess and treat similar conditions to our Physiotherapists, utilizing similar techniques and tools.
Your first visit with your STRONG. Chiropractor consists of a thorough health history, physical and orthopedic examination, diagnosis, discussion of treatment options, and initiation of treatment.
Not just cracking your back? Nope! STRONG. Chiropractors may or may not recommend mobilization or manipulation of your joints as a small part of a comprehensive approach to your recovery. If you are uncomfortable with this technique; no problem! There are a variety of ways to treat your particular issue without the use of manipulation.
Our clients’ comfort and buy-in are always priority #1.
Working with your chiropractor to find the best combination of treatments that you are comfortable with is a critical part of your visit. You always have the final say in what treatments will occur and your chiropractor will never perform any treatments you are uncomfortable with. Some common treatment techniques include soft tissue manual release, acupuncture, exercise or rehabilitation, and/or joint manipulation/mobilization to name a few.
As part of managing your injury, STRONG. Chiropractors often collaborate with other healthcare providers, coaches, and trainers to create personalized treatment plans that cater to your specific needs and goals. If you work with a trainer elsewhere we’d love to meet them! Great communication is paramount for great results.
